Holiday in the Philippines

A holiday in the Philippines will give you some of the best beaches, islands, diving, food and hotels in the world, and yet it remains curiously underrated and under visited. 

What I do know is that once you’ve visited once, you will want to come back. 

When you take a holiday in the Philippines, you can be a little overwhelmed with the amount of choice you have. It is all to easy to miss out something essential because you did not know about it or because your travel planning has not quite worked out. 

I hope that this website will give you some inspiration and information. It is not an “ultimate” guide as some bloggers promise. It is really impossible to provide an ultimate guide. There is too much to see and do. 

I travel to the Philippines regularly and this website will set out some of the things I like and some of the things I believe you should avoid. 

Holiday in the Philippines is an information and resource site designed to introduce you to the magic of the Philippines and to inspire you to take your next holiday there. I do not sell holidays on this site.

I visit the Philippines regularly, so many of the places I recommend are from personal experience.

The Philippines is the perfect place to take a holiday. The beaches are amazing but are not too crowded. Perhaps it is like Thailand 20 years ago, and now waiting for you to discover these islands, the jewel in the orient.

The wildlife and marine life is extraordinary and varied, in sea, jungle, and mountain. There is a huge amount to do, from diving to cliff jumping, from trekking to chilling on the beach, from embracing the local culture and history to trekking the mountains, jungles and volcanoes.
